Wildlife
on Your Doorstep is a new project for local people (individuals,
families or groups such as schools, youth clubs and community groups) to
become involved in observing and recording selected wildlife species in
their own favourite space - be it your own garden, school grounds, local
park or any site that is important to you.
Dorset
Wildlife Trust (DWT) provide helpful packs with species identification
cards, recording forms, instructions and a wall chart to guide you
through the wildlife year; records are passed on to Dorset Environmental
Records Centre (DERC) for entry into the Dorset wildlife database.
